Iran film applies to attend Fajr Filmfest

Iran feature film 'Blade and Cashmere' has filled out form to attend the 37th edition of Fajr Film Festival.

Directed by Kioumars Pourahmad, the film has recently concluded the shooting stage and has now applied to premiere at the national film event which will hold this winter.

Ali Qaem-Maghami is the producer of this new flick which is a social drama.

Popular ifilm stars Houman Barghnavard, Pejman Bazeghi and Mehran Rajabi are the main cast of the film.

Fajr Film Festival is held annually in Iran during the 10-day ceremony, which marks the anniversary of the ten days from the return of Imam Khomeini (RA), founder of the Islamic Republic, to Iran (February 1) until the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11) in 1979.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran.
